Guys, I have such fond memories of both Sam and Ruby. Sam was always so easy-going, laid back and such fun. I loved coming to your house because Sam and Ruby always treated me like their 7th child. We could do anything as long as we didn't get hurt. He was one of my Dad and Mom's favorite people, as well. He will be missed. His death is the end of an era.

Sam was one of my Dad's (Orval Murry)favorite friends and they loved sharing war stories. It was a highlight for him to finish a Ouachita River float by the house and go over an share with Sam before going home.
